This is a commendable fact about the playchess server that they are very committed to ensuring that nobody uses a program while playing human games. While the committment is commendable, the implementation is faulty. I do not know how their software works but while playing human games I am now used to receiving a warning. (Cheating leads to account termination). AND I do not use any chess programs to beat human opponents. The strange thing is that i get this warning only during certain games and not all the games. So probably this warning is not caused by the their tracking program sensing some programs running in the background. Otherwise I should get the warning after every game. So probably the software is tryihng to recognise the pattern in the way I play the game and then declare that the person is using a program. I think this method is not full proof as drawing a clear line between human and computer is full of risk and can not be relied upon. Unless a good program is there for tracking, such unfounded warnings are very offensive. To make the matters worse, chessbase does not keep sysops there to make complaints. But you definitely have their icons their :). So one fine morning they will get up and check their logs and see..oops this guy has got 10 warnings but still he has not stopped cheating..let us terminate this account. Concerned Amitesh
