You have the issue well documented above and in the preceeding posts -- plus you have humans that have no qualms when playing a computer to get a little computer help. My main interest was having the program play top rated humans -- but there are few fewer of those around willing to play on ICC last time I signed on. With F8 and a dual, I am perfectly content to run my little engine tournaments now and then. My lastest project is getting Crafty 12.7 running under F8 and see how it does against the big boys.
