...what may happen in a short tournament @ 4 2 time controls:

old crafty Secane, PA USA 2003

                         1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
1 Crafty 19.03 ST * ½ 1 ½ ½ ½ 1 1 5.0/7 14.75
2 Crafty 19.03 Lasker ½ * 0 1 1 ½ 1 1 5.0/7 14.50
3 Hiarcs 8 0 1 * 1 0 1 ½ 1 4.5/7 14.00
4 Ruffian 1.0.1 ½ 0 0 * 1 1 1 1 4.5/7 11.50
5 Fritz 8 ½ 0 1 0 * 1 ½ 1 4.0/7
6 Movei 804a ½ ½ 0 0 0 * 1 1 3.0/7
7 Crafty 12.7 (1997) 0 0 ½ 0 ½ 0 * 0 1.0/7 4.25
8 The King 0 0 0 0 0 0 1 * 1.0/7 1.00

The King used was the "OPK free" version -- I suspect that the "OPK free"
version has either damaged the time control in short blitz games or it simply
does not use time well in 4 2 games. I not have played a lot of 4 2 games, but
in this case Th King had +5 minutes left in almost every game indicating it was
moving almost instantly. Give credance not to use the "OPK free" version at
all.
