Little Goliath is probably one of the best that _doesn't_ use tablebases. It
seems to have enough end game knowledge to get by. Chess Tiger is another that
comes to mind.

For the most part I only use 3 and 4 man tbs. Sometimes I will use the entire
onslaught of 5 and 6 man as well in computer games.
