how much memory do you now have ..a wild guess here says you might have now 1
Ghz ...

first unistall the new memory ..see if the program still works (if not
installed, install and make aure it still works), hopefully it does --- before
install the new ram, remove the program - then install the ram, then F8 , before
starting F8, make sure you have the latest patch ...if that does not work, then
the your Ram might be the source of your problems , chess programs are very good
at finding faulty ram.
