Thats _exactly_ what I meant when I said shoddy! :) Basically, when it finds a new best move, it doesnt display the current time taken...I should fix this, but it hasnt bothered me until now. So basically, ignore the time statistics, except for the last one for a given ply. Thats how long it took to complete a search up to this point. Regards, Joel
