What are some unsovled chess problems? By "chess problem", I do not mean finding the theoretical outcome of a position. I'm thinking more along the lines of shortest stalemate, most number of legal moves in a chess position, 8-queens problem, the Babson task, and things like that. I know there are good guesses for the solutions to shortest stalemate and move legal moves (shortest stalemate is probably 19 ply, most legal moves is probably 218 moves), but they are not proven AFAIK. Are there other similar unsolved chess problems? Or maybe chess challenges is a better way of putting it.
