Red Hat, SuSE and Mandrake are certainly the most easy to use all round Linuxes. But they are hardy the 'best'. Slackware, Gentus and Motherboard vendor linuxes are usually the top performers. I used ABit Gentoo Linux until they discontinued it. It was a Linux install that had optimized kernel and drivers for all ABit motheboard and processor combinations. Now I have Gentus and CollegeLinux. Gentus is a build from sources install that lets you optimize everything. And CollegeLinux is a complete Desktop solution. It has everything you need to handle office and schoolwork from home. MvH Dan Andersson
