presented an approximate formula for it. To understand it better you could try
running this formula: Plot3D(1/(x+(1-x)*40)^y,{x,0,1},{y,1,10}) in the HartMath
Java Computer Algebra Tool. There is both a WebStart link and a download link.
You get to manipulate the 3D model with the mouse.
