The version used against Kasparov was the SMP version. This means that offering
a slightly older SMP version for free doesn't make sense in light of pricey SMP
version sold simultaneously. That isn't logical or fiscally lucid, hence absurd.

No, they don't. They can return the money to those that feel cheated.
