Below is some analysis of a few Nolot positions with todays top engines
on a rather slow PIV-1500 MHz (this means that solution times can be
divided 2 or 3 times).
Although not all positions were solved and the positions were solved by
different engines,it's surely a big step in computer chess that they
started to solve these positions.
Before 2-3 years, the previous generation of chess-engines wasn't able to
solve more than one or two positions.
A very good place for find more about Nolot suite is:

NOLOT 1 - Kasparov-Karpov, 20th game 1990
Kasparov played Nxh6!!
-Gambit Tiger 2.0 finds this in 49 seconds and gives
a positive score after 24 minutes. If i used a PIV-3000 MHz then it
would see a win after 8-10 min.
-Deep Thought-2 could not find the move in one hour time.

increasing score in 6:49 minutes.
-Gandalf 5.1 finds this and the right continuation, but it thinks
the final position is bad for it, so it has a negative score. Maybe a little
more time/strongest hardware and it would think it's good.

At the above page of Nolot's Suite says about Nolot-11 :
%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%
Nolot's analysis as reported by Baudot:
This was a trap, as the game was spectacularly won because of black's weak play.
Several authors have published this game without checking anything. For
instance,
Neishtadt in his excellent book "Lecons de tactique":
"1.Rxh6!! Nxh6 2.Qg5 Nf7 3.Qd8+!! Nxd8 4.h6 and there is nothing to prevent
h6-h7+ 1-0"
Right, nothing can prevent h6-h7+, but it is not decisive!
4...Qd4!! 5.h7+ Kf7 6.g8Q+ Ke7 7.h8Q Kd6 8.Rg7 Qxd2!! 9.Qxd8 Kc5 10.Rxd7 Bxd7
11.Qxa8 Kb4
12.Qxa7 Qe1 13.Kb2 Qc3 1/2 as white cannot escape the black checks.

Although after analysis it seems it's a draw, the drawn path given above is not
correct.
After:
1.Rxh6!! Nxh6 2.Qg5 Nf7 3.Qd8+!! Nxd8 4.h6 Qd4!! 5.h7+ Kf7 6.g8Q+ Ke7 7.h8Q Kd6
8.Rg7 Qxd2!! 9.Qxd8 Kc5 10.Rxd7 Bxd7 11.Qxa8 Kb4
instead of the given 12.Qxa7?? there is 12.Qh1 and White wins.
But there is a repetition draw after 9...Qd1+ instead of the given 9...Kc5?.
