Subject: Openings Book problem

On the propreties for my openings books file, on the attributes, the box "Read
only" is checked". I am unchecking it but it keeps coming back with a green
check on"Read only". How do I uncheck the "read only" box permanently? Because I
think that what it is that's preventing me for importing new games in openings
books.
