TSK TSk Tsk Bottom line - it was his right and we don't have say . My own sense (from a distance), Bruce is a "perfectionist" and he never felt Ferret was ready. I say that he may be a "perfectionist" in part, becasue on his website he has a whole page devoted to "spelling" http://www.seanet.com/~brucemo/spelling.htm - listing many of the words I misspell often. Not because I'm stupid and do not know which words to use - I'm a slow typist and try to type as fast as I can and will often mix and match - there/their your/you're etc - I know there is a difference - but my mind doesn't think that way. It's almost as if I type phonetically. Now I know Bruce was not "picking" on me - but for him to take the time to devote a page to "spelling" so that more more people will spell properly indicates to me that he does have a perfectionist streak in him (and I'm not saying that's a bad thing either -- in fact may be a very good trait to have if you are programmer - but it's just an observation). Perhaps Chessbase should have more programmers like Bruce Moreland and fewer like me. ;>)
