Do you mean that the 'old' iterations are shown again? Or that the pondermove is stripped off when the next PV is given? Arena clears the PV window after a move by the opponent, and that window stays empty after a ponderhit until the next PV is given. In case you are referring to the Baron version 0.36 or before, everything I wrote above is not true. Those versions only analyzed the position and used hashtable entries to speed up search. But with 0.99.1 and later the Baron selects a ponder move. Some versions often had a problem selecting a pondermove. But that should have been solved in the latest version. Richard.
