Subject: FRC: Last try, to end the discussion

Hi all!

To end the discussion about my FRC-rankinglist (www.frc-list.beep.de) I want to
say this:

1) I said on my homepage, that the used engines are not able to play real FRC,
because they dont know the FRC-castling-rules.
2) I never wanted to find the FRC-worldchampion. I only try to create the FIRST
and ONLY FRC-computer-rankinglist. But not because I want to sabotage FRC (what
a strange, paranoic idea...), but because of making FRC more popular!
3) I use only 15 (of 960) possible FRC-positions, because of the
castling-problem (I said that on my homepage, too!), but the used positions are
FRC.
4) The rankinglist is a real FRC-rankinglist, because the engines can castle in
that 15 positions (and they do!) and so the play REAL FRC.
5) It is wrong to say, that my rankinglist with only 15 of 960 possible
positions is no real FRC! In computertournaments (normal chess) only a small
part of all possible openings and openingmoves are played. Nobody says: "Ooops,
no engine played aljechin's defense, that tournament is no real chess!" (another
strange idea...)
6) When the opening-positions are FRC and all engines play the castles (as they
are defined in the FRC-rules) the tournament is FRC. So my tournament and my
rankinglist are FRC. And I will call it FRC-rankinglist now and forever...
7) And finally: Come on, its FRC, not a holy war!

Greetings - Stefan Pohl
