Conformer remover as well as acetone incase you mess up heh. You would like the book "Hacking the X-box" Have you seen it? He talks about interesting rework in there - that guy definitely has skills. My experience is that most hardware engineers can't solder worth a damn, and usually get technicians to do it for them.
