Subject: Problems Rebel 10

I'm having difficulty getting Rebel to run. After the installation the
program idicates the installation was OK. However, when I try to run
the profggram the initial screens come up then Rebel comes up. Then as
I start my first game @ 10 seconds a move, after about four moves the
programs seems to lock any action from the keyboard. The hard drive
light indicates the hard drive is being accessed and for that duration
of time, I'm locked out of the program. It's like the program is
running from the hard drive and not from memory. The same action takes
place with the ten day trial program. The program , anwhere from four
to fourteen moves, crashes and returns me to the original screen. At
times I get a brief message regarding addressing problems but it happens
so fast I miss everything it may have to say. It looks like it is in a
dos mode when I get the message and fully switches back to windows. ( I
have the Matrox series video cards and you have had "fixes" for that
before.) I tried this program on 2 different computers (same video card
Mfg) with the same results.

I did try to get some assistance from ICD and talked to Tim. The only
suggestion he had was to go into the DOS mode and when in Rebel
directory, enter the word "Rebel" (space)w1(space)v and try differnt
combinations. One time I got a game as far as 25 moves before it
crashed.

Any suggestions you may have will be greatly appreciated. I'm looking
forward to playing a full game.
