I think the best joke of the CSS fans is that they believe WE would stop them from doing their hobby. When it is in fact vice versa. We are the hobbyists. They are the people who make money out of computerchess, and the problem is that we and our freedom of speech stop them from doing their lies and misinformation, we stop them from doing their business as usual. That is he reason all this censorship and deleting of posting happens. They have to delete those postings that would irritate their business projects. e.g. when a new chessbase program is coming out they don't like that users talk about bugs and problems and post weak playing results. they do not delete all the positive posts of course. its all about making money. and then those people claim: we are the computerchess hobbyists. people like steinwender, weiner, friedel, ... HOBBYISTS ??? which hobby ? making money out of computerchess ??? this is no hobby. this is business. and that is why we have all the arguments. thy don't like us because they cannot make their deals and business in the way they want it to do. they want and need the complete control over the market. that is why they are against freeware and amateur programs. or against arena and other projects. they want to control the media. they want to control the people and the information that is posted. they have their "friends". namely people on their payroll who have the job to spread the whole day misinformation about the products. IMO we don't have to give a certain name to show how such a paid person works. how he writes his "objective" articels and brings them into the media. it's about money. and anybody who wants to doo computerchess as a hobby is an enemy for them. and now they turn it arround and say: we are against computerchess. no - we do computerchess as a hobby. not them. but let them lie about this. i don't care. all those payroll slaves, they are IMO unimportant. let them lie.
