It looks like it should be sent to you >before the 20th July 2003 for Qualification? > >Andrew Hi Andrew, Yes, it should be there at July 20th, because I need a bit more testing time for new and unreleased ones.(sometimes there are still some bugs hidden, especially if those are newly adapted to the WB protocol) If you would release it until July 20th, your deadline would be exceeded to July 27th though. The Qualification is only needed if there is a doubt about stability and strength. (my rules say: it should at least reach 40% in a double round versus the last 5 programs of last editions Open Class, but I have no doubt, that this would be peanuts for Postmodernist ;). Therefore Postmodernist can start at once in the Open Class or even higher because in my rules I have the possibilty to give two wildcards each for the two highest classes. I think Postmodernist would be a candidate to get a wildcard, but if you dont want to wait seeing it playing, it can start immediately in the Open Class, you wont lose anything by this procedure, as the classes run always from the bottom to the top. If you want to wait and use the wildcard, it would take around Dec/Jan until Postmodernist would start in Class B. Wills' Amateur started in the Open Class (at that time the wildcards were already given out to other very strong new entries and of course it climbed steadily up to Class A, which is currently running. You can ask Will how his feelings were, to see his 'baby' climbing :) Best regards, Günther P.S.
