2 Fritz 8 2760 101½½½010½1000½10101000½0½1001 12.5/30
That's interesting... Fritz 7's average ply depth in the game was either
slightly bigger, ~0.5 plies, or equal. The match includes no losses on time. The
result above is 58,3% or about +60 elo for F7, or +80 elo compared to the SSDF
difference.
The question would be, is F8 better than F7 in the "indirect" comparions against
other engines in FRC positions, like in the SSDF games?
On Stefans list, F8 is currently #2 behind Shredder 7.04. Compared to SSDF,
Hiarcs 8 is significantly better placed... but this could be time control
related (too).
I'm just running a blitz tournament with 5 of these positions, where - after 50
games from 100 - F7 is first, and Shredder 7.SE is on the 4th rank. But I have
only 5 participants.

(still a happy F7 user :-)
