Except the point with the "eval" (horizon) problem (if this is really a problem)
ALL problems you described are related to the Chessbase GUI and NOT to the
Shredder Engine.

So to be correct do'nt blame Shredder blame ChessProgram8.exe (or Chessbase) ;-)
