From my own testing all engines work fine in either their own interface or another CB interface. Example Junior 8 produces the same nodes in Junior 8 or in Shredder 7. And Shredder 7's only real difference is a few % nodes between classic GUI and CB GUI. It was stated in advance before beginning this tournament that remis.ctg was going to be used. There are still many games to be played. From my own testing with Junior 8. Gauntlet; 10 games 60' + 2 sec inc. Only 5 games of 140 played but thus far Junior 8 has 4/5 beating Tiger 14, Tiger 15, Deep Fritz 7, Shredder 7 losing to Shredder 7.04. As usual only time and enough games to get within a reasonable +- margin of error will tell. As usual Kurt and Rolf's tourney's are interesting they should ignore critique especially when they stated the conditions in advance. For my part I just wish any of my CB interfaces would actually load Wb2Uci without shutting down :-( Sarah.
