I Started to get interested in computerchess when i first saw a chess challenger
7 in a German store. Back in holland i bought one, my father paid for it since i
was still in elemantary school. In that time i started reading on programming a
chess computer and i made my first attempt in basic on my ZX spectrum. Later i
started writin in z80 assamly ans started over again but this progrma was neve
finisched. I shifted to reversie programming because a friend of mine was also
intereseted in that game.

In my years in university i thought myself to program in c and when i bought my
first pc a wrote a program based on bitboards. When it started to play i lost
the code due to a computer crash and i started over again usin 0x88 also because
my TC 1.5 compiler was not very easy to prgram bitboards on.

My present program is not very strong but i have a lot of things to enter into
it. BUt i'am not a very skillfull programmer, only a hobbist. I have not
received any education on programming and by profession i'am a teacher of tax
law at a university in the Netherlands.
