My chess program translated to run on a PC uses ascii text symbols for the board. I did not know how to create graphics on a PC at that time. The people who have seen it exclaim that it is the best ascii representation of a chess board there is. If you have access to QBasic, the programming language that came with the older versions of Microsoft, I'll be glad to down load a copy of the early version of my program. It rated about 200 elo points!!?? Bill
