This position was post on CCC in 1998.  The general response was '...micro's
can't get it yet, but they will in a few years...'  Well, they were for the most
part, correct.  A lot can now.

I knew I should have put a 'disclaimer' on the post, saying that I wasn't really
trying to compare DB to engines of today.  Just a nice way to see how fair we've
come.

Thanks for your evals.  And opinions.
