I resent the notion that I'm 'cheerleading', objectivity is far more important to me than unneccessarily trying to justify my purchase. The question was, is a 2800+ mp faster than a 2.8 Xeon machine. No mention of Opterons was made in the original question. If you had read my discussion with Aaron Gordon previously, you'll find that I state MANY times that the Opteron will beat both machines and that I'm a bigger fan of AMD as a company than Intel. The facts were that at stock speed, I've seen no evidence that the 533MHz Xeons can't keep up with the MP's. Please provide some if you believe I'm 'obviously cheerleading'. Pete
