It does not contradict the excuse that I gave. It is not the only possible excuse and another excuse is that the king simply does not need more than 1 cpu beccaquse the king with 1 cpu is better than other programs with more cpu's. another reason is that customers with 2 cpu's may use them for engine-engine games when every engine get 1 cpu. so the question which program is better with one cpu may be still relevant for them. > >All new P4 chips have SMT to just mention a thing. > >DIEP is ready for it.
