Can you use it to :
   - search messages for which the subject include certain words but doesn't
contain others ?
   - search messages posted by a certain person (i.e. not that name inside the
message but inside message header) ?
   - view messages threaded ?
   - view expanded diagrams inside messages ? (this could work if you make a
mirror of talkchess.com but then I am not so sure you would have older messages)

Just a few questions from the top of my head, there certainly are more similar
ones.

I think a web mirroring software is not the answer for extracting the bits of
knowledge from CCC, because among other thing you need also to keep track of
message hierarchy (threads) to have some useful results.

But maybe I am wrong.

That's the whole purpose of my little poll : to find out what people think about
the idea of having an offline browser for CCC.

Cheers,
Andrei
