The 3 plies where only for Backgammon. Because of the dices in Backgammon there is very high branching factor (multiply every possible move with the 36 possibilities to throw the two dices). Therefore you cannot get much deeper, but nevertheless Snowie is perhaps stronger than the best human players in the world because of the good NN trained evaluation. Regards, Ralph
