Subject: Revival: run your original Apple IIe chess programs on a Palm

An Apple IIe emulator that runs on PalmOS devices is going to be available soon.

If you have vintage chess programs like Sargon II, you are going to be able to
run them at native speed on a PalmOS device.

I think it would be interesting to establish a list of chess programs that were
available for that machine.

I know there has been a version of Sargon II for that machine. What else?

I seem to remember that Ed has an old Apple II buried somewhere. Some years ago
we used this forum to play a Chess Tiger vs Sargon II correspondence game. Maybe
Ed has used the Apple II (65C02 processor) to build his first versions of his
Mephisto Rebel series?

Maybe the following programs have Apple II versions?
* Sfinks
* Mychess
* Microchess
