Hi Odell,

Like yourself I often search out newsgroups for technical help. Especially
when it comes to getting games working on different operating systems.
From the looks of your config.sys file I assume you are running Win 3.1 and
Dos 6.22( or Dos 6). Is that so?

Using Drvspace can at times cause problems with some software. I remember
when I used Win 3.1 and Dos 6.x that different programs required different
settings for the Autoexec.bat file and Config.sys file. Rather than
using the old idea of boot disks I employed the multiboot feature that was
introduced with Dos 6.0 or Dos 6.22. On bootup one has the option of going into
windows or dos with extended memory or dos with expanded memory (I remember I
needed expanded memory for the chess program called Kasparov's Gambit among
others). I even
had a boot option to go directly into MChess which benefited from its
own config.sys and autoexec.bat settings. Maybe that could be a route for you to
investigate. If you want to try this you can email me for further details.
