It might pay out. > >Regards, >Dieter Hi Dieter, I follow Rule 1 with _every_ compiler on every system (BTW: MinGW is a good choice) because i'm used to blow up code with asserts for preconditions / postconditions / loop-invariants / ... So it's my daily practice, that debug version (with asserts on) and release version (with asserts off) _both_ should pass the test parcours before i go on.
