Can you explain what that means?  It doesn't do all three annotation commands?
It annotates all games but doesn't annotate moves you expect to see comments
on?

I don't know what that means.  Crafty _always_ reads the crafty.rc file
when it is started.  It only does it once, however, at the start of
execution, not between commands.

No, but it will annotate multiple games in a single PGN file.  If you are
careful with the "name" tag, you can annotate a file with a particular player
playing black and white in different games and always annotate for that
player's moves.
