Since when has discussing a computer chess issue become inappropriate? Is not that what this newgroup is sopposed to be about? I have seen many people ask Bob hyatt all kinds of Technical questions about his programs , and neither the question or the response was ever attacked or labeled as "inappropriate". I have not be a member of CCC very long, but one of the things that I found particulary appealing about ccc was the access the public has to these programmers. In fact in my mind I have a lot of respect for schoeder because he doesn't hide from the people who support his product but makes himself reachable, this is excellent public relations. It benifits the computer chess community immensely, their is talk about rebel ten all over the computer chess internet, I am sure many people who would not ordinarily visit ccc will be doing so because of the availability of this information. This activity doesn't hurt CCC it only enhances it!!
