Subject: A question for winboard experts

As a debugging experiment, I am running two versions of my program in
engine-engine matches under winboard (with /mg), at n plies fixed-depth with
n<=5. Of course at such low depths an entire game does not last more than a few
seconds, so I could get a lot of data very quickly _IF_ winboard did not take so
long between each game (about 9/10 seconds).

So my question is : is there a parameter somewhere I have overlooked which could
help me shorten the time to wait after a game is finished and the other begins ?
To run a new instance of winboard for each game doesn't help of course because
of the long "starting chess program" time.
