I think that some nunn matches against old Crafty with unequal time control may be interesting to see the size of the improvement. Can new Crafty beat old Crafty in the nunn match with time handicap of 2:1? It may be also interesting to see if your improvement is linear or exponential. In other words is your improvement equivalent to doing crafty twice faster at all time controls or maybe it is equivalent to doing crafty 1.5 times faster at blitz and 2.5 times faster at longer time control.
