So finally it is done. 160 tournament games have been played, the last 20 of them ended 11.5-8.5 in favour of Junior 8 vs Chessmaster 9000 (Selectivity=12). The comparison between the three Chessmaster-settings has been a dead race. Junior 8 versus CM 9000 Pillen 10-10 CM 9000 SKR 10.5-9.5 CM 9000 Sel12 11.5-8.5 Junior 8 lost two matches. One closest possible vs. Shredder 7.04 (classic) and the other one clearer vs. ChessTiger 15 by 8-12. Including the three matches vs. the Chessmaster-versions and the two matches vs. Fritz 8 the final result is 54% for Junior 8. The games are available as usual on my homepage www.harald-faber.de. I will take a look at them and comment them. It would also be fine if anyone else would analyze/comment at least some of the games. I am open for suggestions for further tests, but of course it is me who will decide about their realization. :-)
