So the more physical RAM is in your machine the more you can spend for Hashtables. I'm not sure, if there is an absolute border. Some reported, that the max amount for Hash is 1056 MB - but I'm not sure, if this is still true for the most recent engines (Fritz 8, Shredder 7 and Junior 8).
