Kd2 >Kh5 1/2-1/2 To Mark Young and the CCC I replayed your game on my 333 Pentium II NEC machine with your parameters and I found two things. First, it was almost impossible to get Rebel 10 to play d6 after d4----It usually chose the better d5 as would Kasparov. Second, the machine would not play on its' 18th move as black the move a6. It chose instead Rad8 even when I let it run out to four minutes. Now I find this strange. Could it be that Ed Schroeder released two versions of the program? I also noted that you played what the machine predicted as the best move to a large extent. I suggest that you shut off the hint mode and the ply search functions to get a better idea of just how strong Rebel 10 is. No computer program will pass the Turing test, because if you play the same game over and over it will respond like an idiot savant. Thank you and keep up the good work.
