I noticed when I had my AMD thunderbird 1200's overclocked at 1400 there were
some programs they would not run. It especially didn't like Fritz 7. It's simply
a matter of extremes and cooling. In my case seemed 10% overclock was ok and
everthing ran fine but also that depends a lot on the chip and the cooling.

Not sure how much you'd save on an overclocked modified dual but for me I'd
rather simply do it myself or spend more for the right chip. Now using AMD
2600's I see no reason to try and get another 10% out of them easier to upgrade.
