With adequate >>cooling and voltage, there is no reason to fear overclocking. My system is way faster than Sarah's. My 2500mhz would be the equivalent of a 3400 xp at least; maybe more. I have had it working with Shredder 7.04, J8 and all programs for days on end without problems. I just make sure to keep the room cool. Good luck to you.
