The strength of Shredder 7.04 opponents in some cases is significantly weaker
than the others in the top 14.

What I would like to see are tournaments against GMs playing programs that are
"off the shelf" as we buy them and not against specially tuned engines running
on multiple processors. I have played Shredder v6.02 and v7 many times against
a FIDE rated player rated of about 2200 and came out no better than even
(40/120). Of course one game against Petr Kiriakov (30/0) played to a draw
doesn't prove much either but it gives one some indication that SSDF ratings
should be related to playing other programs and not a relation to real life GMs.

If I am missing something here please advise regarding any misinterpretations I
may have.
