I think that it is fair that every program uses its book.
The only unfair thing can be if the book that you use for fritz5 is based on
learning of many games that you played before and the book of Junior5 is not
based on learning games.

In this case  it is also not fair to use Fritz5's book for both sides because
this book is optimized for fritz5.

I do not like the fact that the programs do not use time for calculations when
they are in book(Crafty does not do it).

I believe it must be counterproductive at longer time control.
I believe that at long time control the big book of fritz5 in the way fritz5
uses it will be counterproductive.
