I'd guess it will still lose to the top commercials, just like it did when he
had a 1024 processor machine at the last WCCC. Since 1024 didn't work, what
makes you think only 500 will be better? Also, "faster than deep blue" doesn't
really mean anything (if it's even true). I could write a program from scratch
in one afternoon that is ten times faster than Fritz, but it would lose every
single game to Fritz and any human master.
