No, Kittinger's engine was in Chessmaster 2000 and 2100 (and I think it was even in CM3000). Honestly, I haven't done much testing with Kittinger's engine, and the only testing I have done is against Chessmaster personalities of various types (since Majestic Chess is shipping with 32 different personalities). However, I think I can safely say that the rating of Kittinger's new engine is about 100-150 points lower than that of The King, when both engines are at their top levels, and ONLY at blitz time controls. I have done no testing at a time control faster than Fischer 5/3. jm
