Your guess would be correct.

The program is being shipping under the extremely popular Hoyle brand, and is
therefore being created for the appropriate kind of users (i.e. those who want
to have FUN -- above all else -- learning and playing chess). I would say that
the program succeeds very well in this regard, IMHO.
