Subject: Rebel 10 EOC vs. Junior 5 1:0

Author: Kai Lübke

Date: 02:57:43 10/26/98

Hi all,

a beautiful and hard-fought endgame between the two programs (which are both
rivals for the title of "best endgame player").
Two thumbs up for the EOC this time:
24...Qc5 was played on suggestion from the database, otherwise both would have
settled for a +0,00 score three times in a row and thus had a draw.

Current Shep Championship standings:

1. Chess Tiger 11.5 4,5*
2. Nimzo 98 Pad. 4,0
3. Rebel 10.0 EOC 3,5*
   Junior 5.0 3,5
   MChess Pro 8.0 3,5
   Chessmaster 5555 3,5
7. Fritz 5.01 2,5
8. Virtual Chess II 1,5
--------------------------
   Hiarcs 7.0 0,0
   TBD 0,0

*CT vs. Rebel is still left (will be played today).
