It is easy to criticize him here but remember that the result was important for adams(more money for winning the match) and adams had practical chances to win on time. If you want players not to accept a draw in a lost position then the only solution is to make a situation when they can earn nothing from doing it. The sponsors may decide as a rule that if a player accepted a draw offer in a lost position then this player cannot win money prizes. They can also decide that a player cannot earn money in other cases if they do not want players to try to win in a way that they consider as dishonest. Uri
