The idea that someone should be forced to resign when they are not ready to is not part of the rules of chess. The player unable to continue the game (Junior) being declared the loser IS part of the rules. I think Adams was very generous to accept a draw when he could have claimed a win under the rules. And if people keep badmouthing GM's for doing what is allowed by the rules of the game we may find fewer and fewer GM's willing to play against comps. That would be sad. Give the man a break. Robin
