People have WON games from hopeless positions. Even against computers. The idea
that someone should be forced to resign when they are not ready to is not part
of the rules of chess. The player unable to continue the game (Junior) being
declared the loser IS part of the rules. I think Adams was very generous to
accept a draw when he could have claimed a win under the rules. And if people
keep badmouthing GM's for doing what is allowed by the rules of the game we may
find fewer and fewer GM's willing to play against comps. That would be sad. Give
the man a break.
