I can't yet match Kurt as I don't have the arsenal of programs which he does :) I have decided to test Hiarcs 8. Broadcasting the game makes it more fun for others to watch and I can only do this so far with engines that run in the Junior GUI. I really want to test CM 9000 next, but theres the big question of which book and settings to use. If CM 9000 was tested in the SSDF which book and settings would they use? I'm interested in seeing how Junior does against off the shelf opponents before I start tweaking and adjusting settings. I have Chess Tiger 15 Lokasoft, but I'm not sure it can handle 40/120+20/60+rest/30mins because it just gives me 2 time control settings, ie 40/120 then 20/60, what about the rest? I'll take a look at your Shredder settings but I probably won't go back to Shredder 7 until I have tested some other big names. regards Anson
